Specializing in LV switchgear and Critical Power solutions, their portfolio of products and services enables them to deliver cutting-edge solutions across a range of industries. As they continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator to join their team and contribute to their success.

The Opportunity for an Electrical Estimator:

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join our clients dynamic and growing team. Based in their Watford office, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team and clients by delivering high-quality and timely tender returns for their LV switchgear and critical power businesses.

You will be responsible for processing incoming tender requests, ensuring they are completed and issued to clients on time. There will also be opportunities to visit client sites for surveys when necessary. A key aspect of the role will be understanding our product portfolio and design philosophy, for which full training will be provided, ensuring that you develop robust tender submissions that align with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities of the new Electrical Estimator:

  • Record and process incoming tender requests from clients and sales teams.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality tender returns for LV switchgear and Critical Power projects.
  • Attend site surveys as required to gather information for tender preparation.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure proper interpretation of specifications and respond to project developments.
  • Develop strong product knowledge to accurately reflect our offerings in tender submissions.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth process and a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Prioritise workloads effectively to meet deadlines and adapt to changing requirements.

  • Experience within an electrical environment or a strong technical background.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to deliver accurate, competitive tender returns.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical specifications.
  • Effective communication skills, both with internal teams and external clients.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.
