About the role:

  • Support student progress: Assess, track, and provide feedback on student performance to ensure they achieve their full potential.
  • Classroom management: Create a positive and focused learning environment through effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Curriculum innovation: Develop and implement creative teaching methods aligned with the national curriculum to inspire a love for Maths.
  • Foster relationships: Build strong, supportive relationships with students to promote confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Deliver engaging lessons: Plan and deliver dynamic Maths lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning needs and abilities.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have the right to work within the UK
  • Have experience working within a classroom
  • DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
  • Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
  • Good knowledge of the Maths curriculum
  • Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
  • Have strong classroom management skills.
  • A QTS or PGCE or overseas equivalent
