Accounts Administrator: North-Down Area

Permanent | Full-Time | £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience |  

REED is delighted to be partnered with our client, an innovative business operating within the hospitality sector and based in the North Down area, in the appointment of a full-time Accounts Administrator to join their dynamic team

As the Accounts Administrator, you will be working very closely with the Management Accountant and Accounts team, as well as the wider operational teams, in the placing and approving of orders.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing of, and obtaining approvals for sales and purchase invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparing payment requests
  • Working with a number of companies across multiple portfolios.

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Purchase ledger processing
  • Some basic knowledge and experience of purchasing processes and compliance 
  • Use of accounting software and Microsoft
  • Ability to work independently when required and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills, time management and working towards tight deadlines
