Accounts Technician

Location: Exeter

Salary: Up to £28,000

Our client is a well-established and reputable firm in the accounting industry, known for their commitment to excellence and innovation. They are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Technician to join their dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors as required.
  • Provide support to the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Requirements:

  • AAT qualification, part-qualified considered.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
