Location:Â Honiton
Hours:Â 7:30AM - 4:30PM. 5 days per week, 1 weekend day required, may be more in season.
Salary: £28k + (plus bonuses)

We are looking for a talented and dedicated Chef to join a family-owned company. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, passion, and expertise to the kitchen. You must be a comfortable baker, and able to develop your own menus. This role offers fantastic hours for this type of role, along with a heap of benefits and progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute diverse menus for events such as weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties.
- Source and select high-quality ingredients, maintaining relationships with local suppliers.
- Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards of taste and appearance.
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing training and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, complying with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with clients to customise menus based on their preferences and dietary needs.
- Monitor food costs and manage inventory to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a catering or event setting.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for food and a commitment to excellence.
