SC Group encompasses a group of companies within the UK and Australia who design, manufacture and deliver special purpose machines and equipment. KEY AREAS Key Responsibilities Other Responsibilities
* Translation of Customer requirements into measurable engineering terms in accordance with project Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
* Definition of engineering project deliverables
* Management of design project data
* Holding and documenting timely design reviews including formal PDR and CDR
* Overall system design
* Management of design resource in accordance with ETs and project WBS
* Ensure team members adhere to company procedures and processes
* Management of design hours and costs to ensure design is completed to time and budget
* Liaison with Project Managers
* Concept design
* Checking and sign off of drawings for manufacture
* Contribute to the continuous development of business process and systems
* To understand and use the Company Handbook and follow the Company's policies with regard to Quality, Health and Safety, Security and IT where appropriate.
* To maintain an awareness and observation of Fire, Security and Health and safety regulations.
* Ensure all personal data is managed in accordance with GDPR and company policy
* Report writing, approval and project information recording.
* Systems testing using data logging and other instrumentation.
* Undertake or provide any training that is necessary within your role.
