Our Client is a dynamic, successful and progressive SME, specialising in the manufacture of the highest quality food products, supplying clients across a variety of consumer sectors and including major multiple UK Retailers. Established for over 65 years, and having recently seen major investment in their food processing operations, they are renowned for the quality of their product ranges, having won multiple awards, and have gained an enviable reputation and brand presence for their product ranges.

An opportunity now exists for a hands-on and commercially focused Financial Professional to join the Business, to become part of the Senior Business Management and head up the Company’s Finance Team. As part of the Senior Business Management, you will be able to make your mark on the Business through the effective and efficient financial management and control of many varied aspects of finance and reporting, as well as providing and reporting focused commercial financial management information.

With responsibility for the day to day management of a small finance team, your all-round financial experience will enable you to not only manage the day to day finance function, and maintain effective financial controls, but also contribute to the Business on a commercial footing from the timely and accurate reporting of Business performance through agreed and further developed commercial management reporting.

You will likely be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), who is able to demonstrate, through previous experience, an ability (or capability) to hold a senior finance role in a growing SME Business. You should also possess a people management style that will enable you to get the best out of your small team.

You should be personable, a good relationship builder, highly organised, IT literate and self-motivated, with a desire to apply your finance experience in a working environment that brings out the best in people. As such, this could be an excellent career development opportunity for a Finance Professional who is wanting to develop their own career in a growing, award winning and financially backed SME.
