Job Opportunity: Relief Temporary Team Manager (Adults with Learning Disabilities)

Contract: Temporary (6 months+) potentially permanent for the right applicant

Location: Predominantly based across services in Exeter and East Devon

Hours: Relief - up to 37.5 hours per week

Pay: £18.03 per hour

The Role:

As a Temporary Team Manager, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team of Support Workers and Team Leaders, ensuring the highest quality of care for the adults we work alongside. As this is a temporary role, the emphasis will be on building and strengthening a cohesive team across our services. You will play a vital role in making a positive impact on the Team Leaders and support workers under your management, guiding and mentoring them to excel in their roles.

Your focus will be on effective leadership, mentoring, and developing your team, ensuring they are equipped to provide person-centered support and feel confident in delivering high standards of care.

Your leadership will create a lasting positive impact, even beyond your time in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of support workers and Team Leaders, ensuring excellent standards of care and support.
  • Mentor and empower your team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Promote a person-centered approach to care, empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safeguarding requirements, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with families, external agencies, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for individuals.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team, supporting professional development and encouraging best practices.

About You:
