About the Role
Butler Rose is delighted to be partnering with a forward-thinking and reputable client to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to take on a pivotal role, ensuring the efficient operation of a busy warehouse environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, managing the team, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse operatives to meet performance and safety standards.
- Coordinate and monitor work flow to ensure timely order fulfilment and accurate stock management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory control processes.
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics providers to optimise supply chain efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues promptly, minimising disruption.
- Prepare operational reports and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of health and safety protocols and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
