Job title: Production Team Leader
Location: Dunkeswell EX14 (Honiton area)
Schedule: 4 days per week, Monday - Friday (one day off during the week, weekends off)
Hours: 06:00 - 16:00
Pay Rate: 13.05 per hour
Overtime Rate: 39.15 per hour (after 38 hours completed)
Contract Type: Temporary - Permanent or Permanent

Own transport required due to the location.

Acorn by Synergie is currently offering this role on behalf of their Client based in Dunkeswell, Honiton area.

Successful applicants, preferably with knowledge of the food manufacturing industry and previous supervisory level in a manufacturing/factory environment.

Duties:

To effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis.
Co-ordinating and covering breaks whilst managing working time and reporting absences to line managers.
Making sure prestart safety checks are completed, reporting any near misses, and checking on the welfare of your team.
Trouble shooting any machinery or material issues.
To effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targets.
Ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements:

Experience working as a Production Supervisor / Team Leader.
Ensures completion of tasks in an effective and efficient way according to agreed objectives, provides reporting as required.
The ability to communicate effectively.
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment leading a team.
