A leading waste management company is seeking a results-driven and dynamic Business Development Manager to join its growing team. This role will focus on driving sales and generating new business opportunities in the Honiton area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to increase revenue and expand the client base within the waste management sector in Honiton and surrounding areas.
- Identify and pursue new sales leads through targeted research and networking.
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations in line with company standards.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
- Provide regular sales reports to management, highlighting key successes and areas for improvement.
- Utilise various sales techniques, including field sales, to establish and maintain strong relationships with both potential and existing clients.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the waste management industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and internal teams.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for regular travel.
