Day-to-day of the role:
  • Integrate partner APIs, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange within our booking platform.
  • Design, build, and maintain backend systems using C# and .NET v8 to support partner and client integrations.
  • Collaborate with partners to understand their API specifications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful implementations.
  • Monitor and optimise the performance of API integrations to meet Service Level Objectives for reliability and speed.
  • Implement robust error handling and recovery mechanisms to minimize downtime in API integrations.
  • Maintain API documentation and establish integration processes, including onboarding, certification, and support.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align API integrations with business goals and user requirements.
  • Adopt security best practices, ensuring compliance with data protection standards across API integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET v8, focused on building scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex API and backend issues, from connectivity challenges to data inconsistencies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience in creating clear, comprehensive API integration documentation for internal and external use.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, especially for deploying and maintaining API-related updates.
