Vacancy: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Honiton, Devon
Salary: £31,000-£33,000 per annum DOE
JHP Recruitment are seeking a methodical and innovative Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing and engineering client based in Honiton, Devon on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will have proven experience MIG & TIG welding/fabricating of aluminium and steel with varying thicknesses and will be able to successfully read and interpret engineer drawings.
Main Accountabilities:
- Operating all welding and fabricating equipment correctly and safely
- TIG welding of aluminium (thickness ranging from 1-3mm)
- MIG welding of steel (thickness ranging from 1-3mm)
- Cutting, drilling and sawing metal
- Accurately reading and interpreting engineer drawings
Skills/experience required:
- Minimum of 1 year experience TIG welding
- Good competency of MIG and TIG welding
- Good competency of Sheet Metal Fabrication
- Ability to accurately read machine drawings
- Experience using hand tools
Working hours:
- 07:00-16:00 Monday to Friday
- Early finishes on Fridays
Pay rates:
- £31,000-£33,000 per annum DOE
