Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Turner Programmer to join their busy sub-contract precision engineering company located in Finchampstead. They manufacture high precision components from a variety of sectors including Motorsport, Automotive, Oil & Gas. ISO 9001 Approved.

Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator (Setter Operators also considered)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am – 3:30pm

Rate: £15.50 - £16.24 | Loads of overtime 1.5x | OTE £38,000 - £45,000

The Job

  •  Set, operate and program Mazak Lathes
  • Programming online using Mazatrol
  • Use best practice methods to design and create bespoke tooling as required and manufacturing strategies.
  • Work within a team of skilled machinists or independently when required.
  • Follow in house and customer based procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Mazatrol programming language essential
  • Knowledge of Mazatrol programming language essential
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of work holding, tool selection, speed & feeds, quality awareness and time management.
  • Programming abilities from scratch.
  • Work to tight deadlines.
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
  • To have a flexible approach
  • Apprentice trained (academically) or time served of at least 5 years.
