My client is one of the UKs most pro-active Motorcycle Accessory Distributors responsible for promoting and distributing some of the industry's most innovative brands. They offer an extensive portfolio of high-quality products to riders and retailers across the UK and Internationally.

With an exciting and dynamic business model, this business is growing their brands, and as a result my client is now seeking an experienced, innovative, and results-driven Head of Ecommerce and Marketing to take charge of their online presence and lead a small but talented team.

Head of Ecommerce and Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Financial ownership: Full P&L responsibility including forecasting across digital income and expenditure channels.
  • Planning and OKR’s: Build a robust plan that is easily understood by your team, that provides stretch and ambition. These plans should include OKR’s across the relevant areas (CAC, ROAS, LTVetc.)
  • Strategic Ownership: Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy to grow sales across our 9 websites, plus eBay and Amazon marketplaces.
  • Performance Analysis: Use data-driven insights to monitor and improve conversion rates, AOV, and overall performance metrics.
  • Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to align product availability with sales campaigns and projections.
  • Digital Advertising: Work with internal team to manage PPC campaigns across Google, Meta, and other platforms.
  • Strategic Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy across digital, print, and in-person events.
  • Brand Development: Strengthen brand identity and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Campaign Management: Lead integrated campaigns, including newsletters, social media, influencers, and retargeting efforts.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a two-person team, enabling them to deliver high-quality work and develop professionally.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in a mid to senior level Marketing/Eccomerce role with a proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L and budget management experience.
  • Highly numerate and analytical with a systematic approach to testing.
  • Knowledge and first-hand experience of Shopify.
  • Highly numerate and analytical with a systematic approach to testing.
  • Strong digital marketing experience, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
  • Able to lead and inspire a team with passion, energy and confidence.
  • Excellent team player, calm under pressure, sociable with sound interpersonal skills.
