The ideal Test Rework Technician would be responsible for the rework for test department in accordance with AW JSD-001 and IPC (Apply online only). To carry out test technician activities when required. To assist Test Team Leaders by booking work into test department database.
The Test Rework Technician must demonstrate the following on their CV:
- Performing rework for test department to IAW JST001 and IPC 610, (Apply online only)
- Completing necessary paperwork to obtain and return parts to stores
- Ensuring all rework is inspected in accordance with company procedures
- When required, assisting with testing product under supervision of Test Team Leaders
- Providing cover as Test Technician when required
- Assisting with Test Database Management as required
Professional Development & Responsibilities for Test Rework Technician position:
- To take responsibility for own training and development
- To be regularly supervised in accordance with good practice guidelines and policies
- To participate in the annual performance review process
- To attend all relevant mandatory training as and when required to do so
- To ensure that all health and safety requirements are followed in line with company policies and procedures
- To comply with all Company policies, procedures and values
- To ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest quality standards
Test Rework Technician specific person requirements:
- Certified to IPC-A-610 class 3
- Certified to JSD-001 Class 3
- Certified to IPC(Apply online only)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks
- Able to work effectively to deadlines
- Demonstrates proactive approach
- Dexterity, Good Hand and Eye coordination
- Previous experience of rework in accordance with to IAW JST001 and IPC 610, (Apply online only) is essential
