Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Hook, Hampshire
Salary: From 15.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (45 hours per week)
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate site operations at their Hook, Hampshire location. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth and efficient running of site activities, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise various operational activities, ensuring compliance with Safe Systems of Work, including risk assessments and method statements.

Ensure all site operations adhere to current HSQE legislation and company policies, promoting safe working practices to minimize accidents and incidents.

Conduct regular site inspections and maintain accurate records.

Maximize productivity and communicate any operational issues to management.

Deliver inductions, activity briefings, toolbox talks, and maintain training records.

Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and security during operations and at the end of shifts.

Ensure all plant inspections are completed on time and that defects are reported promptly.
Required Experience & Qualifications

Experience supervising waste management and plant operations.

Strong knowledge of health & safety, environmental, and planning regulations.

Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Valid First Aid Certificate (4-day course).

Fire Marshall Certification.
-
Asbestos Awareness Certification.
-
Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Qualifications:

CIWM WAMITAB Certification.
