They're seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Hookto support students with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties, and Down syndrome.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in the classroom, ensuring they are fully engaged and supported according to their individual needs.
• Adapt teaching methods to ensure students are progressing, creating an inclusive learning environment for all.
• Take on additional responsibilities, including:
  • Covering lessons when required.
  • Collaborating with the SENCO to implement and monitor EHCPs.
• Support students in developing essential independent living skills and accessing any sensory provisions needed.

Key Requirements:

• Previous Teaching Assistant experience (in a mainstream primary school or specialist setting) is essential.
• Relevant qualifications or degree are beneficial, but passion and enthusiasm are most important.
• A strong desire to support students with SEN and help them achieve their full potential.
