Warehouse Operative

Join our client’s team at the heart of Basingstoke as a Warehouse Operative, where you will be an integral part of their operations team for a leading distributor and manufacturer.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Receive, unpack, and verify all incoming goods against paperwork.
- Efficiently process goods received notes via our computer system.
- Manage stock allocation, including control of serial numbers and batch numbers.
- Generate delivery notes, handle picking, packing, and dispatching of goods using the courier system.
- Ensure accurate labelling and storage of stock in designated locations.
- Perform scanning of documentation and other administrative duties related to the role.
- Monitor packaging supplies and manage re-ordering as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good basic level of education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
- Physically fit to lift up to 15kg unaided.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organised, methodical, and capable of working to deadlines.
- Proactive, flexible approach to work.
- Full driving licence, as occasional order delivery by hand is required.
