We are working with a key client who are a heavy material, process handling & capital equipment engineering and installation company, based out of Yorkshire. We are recruiting for and experienced Commissioning Engineer / Manager, on a key customer site in the Peak District for a minimum of a 2-3-month contract, on a major process site upgrade.

As Commissioning Engineer / Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Reporting to the Construction Director, managing the program of commissioning through to completion
  • Ensuring all commissioning documentation is compete
  • Working in conjunction with mechanical and electrical install teams
  • Ensuring project deliverables are being met
  • Point to point electrical testing
  • Checking documentation and certs
  • Keeping track of installs and especially on shutdown to ensure spec and timescales are achieved
  • Ensure all H&S and site procedures are being adhered too.

The successful Commissioning Engineer / Manager will have the following attributes:

  • Experience on £multi-million industrial project installs
  • Minimum HNC Electrical Engineering
  • Site safety passport – CCNSG / CSCS
  • First Aid (beneficial)
  • IPAF (beneficial)
  • 10hr days Mon to Fri, and 12 hr days when the program requires
  • Some weekend working when the program requires
