Assistant Chef needed for very busy Café restaurant
Castleton- Hope Valley
£14-18 per hour Doe
They would consider this as a Full or Part time Role
30-45 hours a week
Normal workings hours are daytime + 3 evenings
Must be available to work weekends
Own transport advantageous due to location
Good experience in cooking fresh food in a fast-paced environment ideal!
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant chef to join this small but very busy café/restaurant, well known for its use of local fresh produce. This café/restaurant has an excellent reputation, and they need a passionate chef to come and join the team.
This cafe restaurant serves an array of fresh meals and snacks form early morning until early evening.
3 Evenings a week they open as a bistro/restaurant serving excellent standard of food all sourced from local producers.
As assistant chef you are expected to be well presented, friendly, enthusiastic, and willing to give 100% and be a very hands on
For this role the ideal assistant chef will have kitchen experience within a very fast paced restaurant/café environment and be used to running services and working on your own and a small team. You will also help with ordering /stock take / cleaning etc
The successful applicant for this Chef role will receive a starting salary of up to £14-18 per hour doe
Your shifts will be working 5 days out of 7 days,
This assistant chef is an offered as a Part Time or full time, permanent role
