WORKING HOURS: 37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8:00 - 4:45 pm, Friday 8:00 - 12:30 pm (Early finish on a Friday)

DUTIES
Your duties as a Fabricator / Welder / Fabrication and Welding Engineer will include:
- Weld and fabricate a variety of bespoke components using stainless steel, nickel alloys and mild steel materials, gauge of sheet metal generally between 0.9mm & 6mm thickness
- Weld and fabricate frameworks from mild steel rolled, stainless steel, hollow section and angle iron to a high standard
- Read engineering drawings and translate that into an end product with minimum supervision
- Achieve a high standard of finish/tolerance on bespoke fabricated products
- Complete problem logs regarding issues with drawings and materials
- Carry out site work when necessary
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Apprentice trained (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent qualification in fabrication and welding) and/or time served fabricator/welder
- Previous experience in the welding and fabrication of bespoke products, including sheet metal, working within a light / medium fabrication working environment
- Good MIG, TIG and spot-welding skills are essential, the interview will include a weld test
- Have good calculation skills and the ability to work to fine tolerances
- Capable of working on their own initiative and as part of a team
- Highly motivated with a team orientated work style
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel if required
