Materials Buyer - Modular Construction

We are recruiting for the role of Materials Buyer on behalf of a modular contractor, based in Horbury , who are looking to add to their procurement team on a permanent basis.

As a Materials Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials required for our organization's operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to build relationships with suppliers, and a keen understanding of market trends to ensure optimal pricing and quality for our materials.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials for company operations.
    • Conducting market research to stay informed about industry trends and pricing.
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of materials.
    • Monitoring supplier performance and addressing issues.
    • Analyzing inventory levels and optimizing stock management.
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures during procurement.
