About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse Qualified Ward Manager join a highly reputable private hospital based on the outskirts of Crawley. The hospital has been newly refurbished and boasts state of the art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Ward Manager to lead their passionate surgical ward team. The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and are looking for an enthusiastic Ward Manager to lead the team. The service offers a range of services and procedures including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, Bariatrics, Paediatrics and offers nurses to develop a variety of skills.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Nurse Qualified Ward Manager and will be responsible for the following;

• Lead the surgical ward team to deliver high-quality person-centred care to patients undergoing a range of surgeries
• Line management of the in-patient services team including training and development, recruitment, conducting inductions and performance reviews
• Resolve and manage and complaints
• Ensure that effective systems are in place to manage stocks
• Conduct audits and reviews of the department
• Ensure Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice

  
Who we're looking for
All applicants for the role of Nurse Qualified Ward Manager must meet the following criteria;

• Registered Nurse with NMC pin with no restrictions
• Full eligibility to live and work in UK
• At least 5 years experience working in an acute environment in the UK
• Experienced Clinical Manager, ideally from a surgical ward background
• Experience working in a similar setting within a hospital
