Product Support Engineer / Customer Support Engineer / Sales Support Engineer required for a manufacturer of analysing equipment used in the Oil and Gas, Marine, Offshore and other industries within Engineering.

Product Support Engineer / Customer Support Engineer / Sales Support Engineer will be responsible to providing technical service and aftersales support to clients as well as fault finding in electromechanical equipment such as pumps and motors.

Product Support Engineer / Customer Support Engineer / Sales Support Engineer will be required to work in the office based near Crawley and will ideally have an engineering qualification (BEng, HND, HNC, ONC, OND or similar) in an Engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering / Automotive Engineering or similar.

Role:

  • Fault finding on electromechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, switches and others
  • Give training sessions for clients on products and demonstrate how to use them
  • Create documentation that customers can follow when using products that include photos and videos to help with their understanding of the equipment
  • Conduct testing on equipment to increase knowledge and ensure it is fit for purpose
  • Provide technical solutions to customers and offer guidance where necessary
  • Regularly review documentation to check where improvements can be made


Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Product Support Engineer / Customer Support Engineer / Sales Support Engineer
  • A qualification in an engineering discipline such as BEng / HNC / HND / ONC / OND or similar in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Automotive Engineering or similar.
  • Commutable to the office based near Crawley
