At Search we specialise in placing fantastic candidates in to temporary roles in the Hospitality Industry across Sussex & Surrey.
We are currently recruiting for new candidates to fill a variety of Chef roles.
The ideal candidate is someone who has had previous experience with cookery or has left the hospitality industry but wants to come back with a passion for cookery.
As you will be working at various sites, and taking part in different roles, we are looking for someone who is confident and can take everything in their stride.
The areas we cover from Crawley, Croydon, Horsham, East Grinstead, Haywards Heath & anywhere in between!
As a candidate working with Search, the work is extremely flexible and we would around you and your availability.
From schools to care homes, hotels to contract catering, we have it all.
Daily responsibilities will vary depending on your job role but can include;
- Working with head chef to maintain kitchen organisation and staff ability
- Providing guidance to junior kitchen staff members
- Supervising all kitchen stations
- Overseeing and organising kitchen stock and ingredients
- Assisting chef with menu creation
- Leading the kitchen team in head chefs absence
- Cooking and preparing high quality dishes
- Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
DBS & drivers are desired but not essential.
Enjoy weekly pay, competitive rates starting from 15.00p/h going up to 18.00p/h and opportunities of temp to perm.
