Join the team at Farmfield Drive in Charlwood as a full time Consultant Psychiatrist. We are looking for a dynamic and innovative consultant psychiatrist to provide medical leadership, and to function as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team. 

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will take on RC responsibility for 15 patients on Brockham ward. The RC will have the support of a non-consultant grade doctor as well as secretarial support.

Farmfield Hospital is made up of a 51-bed secure unit with both MSU and LSU wards for male patients as well as one 15 bed male non-secure acute ward (Brockham) and one 14 bed male non-secure acute ward (Faygate). The hospital is purpose built and run by the highly experience Elysium Healthcare group. The hospital has excellent transport links to London and Brighton.

Working with an established multi-professional team, you will deliver individualised care have access to a large and supportive peer group of like-minded professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely
  • Medication management
  • Quality assurance, complaints and co-production
  • Delivery of NICE guidance
  • Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards
