Our client has an opportunity for Licensed B1 Aircraft Engineers to join them on an initial 6-month contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation, providing class leading support in fixed wing engineering support.

Role: B1 Licensed Engineers
License: Valid UK CAA Category B1 Part-66 Licence
Location: London Gatwick
Type Ratings: B777 or B787
Shifts: 5-5-4 (days only).

Pay rate: 73.35 p/h via Umbrella.

To be successful in your application it is a requirement that you hold UK 'right to work' at the time of application.
Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1) is required to ensure that aircraft service standards are met, and that aircraft return to service duties are performed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aircraft inspections.
  • Aircraft repair
  • Supervision of maintenance staff
  • Supporting paperwork and certification
  • Base maintenance activities

Requirements:

  • Hold a UK CAA B1.1 AML.
  • Type rated on one of B777/B787 (B737NG is a bonus)
  • Meet the requirements to hold a London Gatwick Airport airside pass
  • Candidates must have the right to live and work in United Kingdom.

Experience Required

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year exercising certification privileges with experience working in a Line or Base Maintenance environment.
  • Demonstrate 6 months recent experience on type and ability to hold and maintain appropriate company authorisations specific to role.
