Are you an organised and analytical professional looking to take the next step in your career?A well-established company is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their team in Horley.The Role:This role is integral to ensuring the efficient planning and coordination of transport operations to optimise logistics and supply chain performance.?
  • Develop and implement transport plans to maximise operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and customers, ensuring effective communication.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with transport regulations, including driver hours and PL01 record-keeping.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimise transport routes and schedules.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in IT applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Package & Benefits:
  • Salary of £26,000 - £31,000 (dependent on experience).
  • Monday to Friday, 6am-3pm, 7am-4pm, or 8am-5pm (optional).
  • Optional overtime every other Saturday at 1.5x - 2x basic rate.
  • 20 days' holiday, with 3 days allocated for Christmas shutdown.
  • Onsite parking and a contributory pension scheme.
