Reed Accountancy are currently assisting a large organisation in the local Crawley area who are seeking an experienced Payroller Analyst to join their team on a six month fixed term contract.  As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of payroll processes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees, including calculating hours, overtime, and deductions.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee earnings, benefits, and taxes.
  • Reconciliations
  • Statutory reporting and payments
  • Reconciling and uploading payments to pension provider
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in payroll processing. 
  • Proficiency in payroll software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to tight weekly and monthly deadlines
