We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for our client based near Gatwick, to lead, coordinate, and ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects. If you have experience managing large, cross-functional projects and a proven track record in delivering complex programmes on time and within budget, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager:

Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategic goals.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, providing direction, motivation, and support to drive successful outcomes.
Implement and develop project management methodologies (Waterfall) to suit project needs and foster stakeholder engagement.
Monitor and critically assess project progress, reporting to senior management and escalating issues as needed.
Manage and mentor a team of 2 Project Managers, providing guidance and performance feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Maintain strong relationships with external vendors, ensuring compliance with the organisation's vendor management processes and performance metrics.
Actively engage in ongoing learning and development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Experience required of the Senior Project Manager:

Experience of working of Technical Projects (ideally Software) and Business Change.
Proven experience in managing or mentoring junior project team members, with the ability to deliver high performance in a fast-paced environment.
A solid track record in managing large, complex projects from start to finish, with the ability to adapt project management methodologies to fit business needs.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate challenges and make effective decisions under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging way.
Ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams and external vendors, with an emphasis on teamwork and flexibility.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive, customer-centric approach to working, ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders are well supported.
