Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a Transport Admin Assistant for a prestigious client based in Horley on a temporary basis.

Your role will be to drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation in the Transport Department, address operational challenges, critical time constraints, and complex logistics to ensure efficiency, service quality, and compliance with SLAs.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimise routes and driver schedules to maximise cost efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, providing all necessary information.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle records, including defects, corrective actions, and appearance.
  • Ensure the safety and security of vehicles and their contents.
  • Oversee timely and efficient product deliveries and collections with proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to address issues within SLAs.
  • Prepare driver briefs covering key updates and requirements.
  • Conduct driver performance reviews, including H&S, customer service, and compliance.
  • Provide driver cover when needed.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Deliveries completed on time within SLAs and ETA targets.
  • Accurate and available delivery and collection PODs.
  • Adherence to internal SLAs and vehicle maintenance standards.
  • Demonstrable cost-efficiency improvements.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
