We are inviting applications for a full-time Resistant Materials Teacher at our well-regarded secondary school in Surrey. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching in Resistant Materials.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring Resistant Materials lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes students' skills in working with different materials and tools.
- Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and achievement of students.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in the curriculum and developments in best practice within the field of Resistant Materials.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and participate in departmental activities.
- Manage classroom resources effectively, ensuring a safe and organized workspace that encourages learning.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Resistant Materials or a related subject.
- Proven experience in teaching Resistant Materials at a secondary level.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
