We’re looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary ASD school nestled in the beautiful scenery of Smallfield. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Supporting the Class Teacher: Help with all aspects of class management.
  • Teaching: Lead whole classes, groups, and individual sessions.
  • Running Interventions: Both in groups and one-to-one.
  • Safeguarding: Take responsibility for pupil welfare according to school policies.
  • Feedback: Provide insights on pupil behaviour, relationships, and attitudes.
  • Monitoring and Promoting Development: Keep an eye on pupils’ conduct and promote their overall well-being.
  • Therapy Programs: Work with pupils on specialised programs under professional guidance.
  • Leadership: Step up in the absence of Class Teachers.
  • Planning: Develop and implement plans for pupils, including attending reviews.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
  • Holds a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant Diploma or equivalent Level 4 qualification or can demonstrate equivalent skills.
  • Ideally, has a driving license due to the school’s location.
