BDS are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to cover an exceptional extra care service in the Horley area Horley.

We are looking for someone to lead a team in providing high-quality care in an Extra Care setting. With core skills in management, supervising experience, and leadership, you will oversee daily operations, staff management, budgets and resident care.

Temporary ongoing position to start ASAP with a strong chance to go perm later down the line.

40 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Pay of 24.05per hour PAYE / 30.68 UMB

Main duties will include but are not limited too;

  • Manage and ensure delivery of high quality, responsive and person-centred services that meet the assessed needs of customers.
  • Analyse and take appropriate action on weekly hours performance reports.
  • Ensure personal and service objectives are met.
  • Maintain an up-to-date business continuity plan.
  • Work collaboratively with all relevant agencies including CQC and Commissioners to ensure that the services comply with statutory requirements.
  • Ensure all documents such as care plans, reviews, risk assessments and daily records are high quality and audited.
  • Support the protection and safety of our customers, with safeguarding procedures correctly followed, to ensure appropriate identification, monitoring and reporting of safeguarding concerns.

It is essential to have

  • Previously been registered before
  • Experience of people management, rostering and deployment in a social care environment. Thorough knowledge of CQC regulations and the MCA
  • Demonstrable experience of managing the delivery of a high-quality care practice in regulated care setting, including safeguarding adults.
  • Good IT skills and an ability to write reports. Good communication skills.
  • Strong and effective management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop people at all levels.
