Role: Adults Social Worker - Mental Health
Location: Charlwood, Horley
Salary: 35,000 - 37,000
Eden Brown are working with a Private Client who are looking to appoint a permanent Adults Social Worker.
This a full time (37.5hrs per week) role in based in Charlwood, Horley.
You will be working within low and medium secure services for male patients who have been detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007) and who benefit from extended treatment and rehabilitation.
Main duties of the role include:
- Educating Hospital staff about relevant safeguarding matters.
- Completing a full annual social care reassessment within the CPA format.
- Facilitating access to welfare rights, housing, advocacy services and associated support services
- Participating in 1:1 supervision
As a Social Worker, you report to the Safeguarding Lead, and will manage internal investigations and liaise with home authorities for service users during their admission and discharging process.
The role pays 37,000 per annum with a generous benefits package. Sponsorship is available for this role but you MUST currently be in the United Kingdom with a valid right to work.
In order to be considered for this role you must have:
Registration with Social Work England
A Social Work degree
Post qualified experience.
