What You'll Do

  • Develop Tailored Strategies: Craft and execute individualized lesson plans for SEN students and adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of mainstream classes, ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate Creatively: Work alongside a dynamic team of educators to integrate effective SEN strategies and general teaching practices into the broader curriculum, enhancing the learning experience for all students.
  • Assess and Adapt: Continuously assess student progress in both SEN and mainstream settings, adapting teaching methods to meet their evolving needs, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a cohesive and supportive community.

Who You Are

  • Qualified and Experienced: You hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree or have completed School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT).
  • Versatile Educator: With proven experience in special education and general classroom environments, you are committed to the academic and personal success of all students.
  • Communicative and Compassionate: Your excellent communication skills enable you to interact effectively with diverse groups, and your compassion drives you to make a positive impact.
