Reed Education is seeking skilled and inspirational Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs) to join our dedicated team in Smallfield/Horley, Surrey. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and innovate in special education, making a significant impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.
Day to Day of the Role:- Oversee the special educational needs provision within the school, ensuring all students have access to high-quality education.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create tailored support plans for students.
- Lead training and development for staff on SEN strategies and interventions.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students with additional needs.
- Drive initiatives to foster an inclusive school environment that celebrates diversity and supports all learners.
- A recognised SENCO qualification or equivalent experience in special education.
- QTS
- A proven track record of effectively supporting students with special educational needs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with students, staff, and parents.
- A visionary and strategic approach to developing inclusive education practices.
