Our client is an established skip hire, recycling and waste management company of over 30 years. Running a fleet of over 35 vehicles, they are keen to employ an experienced HGV/commercial technician to join their team.Working 7-5 Monday to Friday, you will be involved in the 6 weekly inspections, MOT preparations as well as general maintenance and repairs to clutches, gear boxes, brakes, hydraulics and pneumatic systems on the vehicles.They operate in a friendly working environment where emphasis is on doing a job well and safely as opposed to a time pressured environment where each job has an expected, allotted time to complete, with financial penalties are incurred for exceeding them.Ideally you will be IRTEC qualified, although not essential, but you must have a full driving license and have worked on HGV or commercial vehicles before.You will be expected to have your own tools (specialist ones will be provided) and be expected to travel to breakdowns on occasion (depot van available).Generous salary available for experienced, proven technicians with a long, steady career opportunity for the right person.Immediate interviews available.
