We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a wide range of airport commercial vehicles and specialist ground support equipment. This includes motor cars, HGVs, buses, coaches, and military vehicles and plant. You will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the safety and reliability of all vehicles and equipment used at Gatwick Airport.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on airport commercial vehicles and ground support equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the service manager.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of motor cars, HGVs, buses, coaches, or military vehicles and plant.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable.
Full UK driving license.
