Welder/Fabricator
Location: Horley, Surrey (Workshop-based with occasional off-site work)
Salary: 18.00 - 21.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Job Profile:
The Welder/Fabricator will play a key role in the workshop, undertaking various welding and fabrication tasks primarily for the construction and demolition sector. This role requires attention to detail, high-quality workmanship, and the ability to think creatively to solve complex challenges. Occasional off-site work on larger projects is also part of this role.
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Perform MIG, TIG (all materials), and MMA welding tasks to a high standard
- Undertake fabrication and repair work on buckets, attachments, and plant machinery
- Ensure all work complies with or exceeds OEM specifications through adherence to quality control processes
- Use gas/plasma cutting tools effectively
- Problem-solve and think creatively to address unique fabrication challenges
- Work independently and proactively within a fast-paced workshop environment
- Occasionally work off-site on larger repair or fabrication projects
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirements / Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of welding and fabrication experience
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and MMA welding
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think "outside the box"
- Experience with gas/plasma cutting tools (desirable)
- Full clean UK driving licence and own transport
- Immaculate timekeeping and reliability
- Coding certification (preferred)
Other Points:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30 with one hour for lunch. Saturday work will be available for overtime as and when required, and will be paid at 1.5x hourly rate.
- This is a full-time, in-person role with opportunities to work on diverse and challenging projects.
