VAN DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: SATURDAY:

£13.00 PER HOUR BASIC £16.25 PER HOUR OVERTIME AFTER 48 HOURS

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Drivers required for immediate starts for our well-established client based in Horncastle, Lincoln.

You must be aged 21 or over for this role for insurance purposes.

Day to Day Duties

• You will be required to load the vehicle in the morning
• This is the physical side to the role and it will be a full van load
• Once loaded you will be delivering to stores around the area
• This is a customer focused role and you will be working with high value products and equipment
• Some products are temp controlled and you will be trained on this
• Depending on the route you will be delivering up to 40 drops per day

Essential Skills

• You must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes
• You must hold a full UK Category B Driving Licence
• Maximum of six points on Driving Licence with three coming off in the next six months

Desirable Experience

• We are looking for candidates who have worked in a similar role.
• Any experience van driving, multi drop and working as a courier will be ideal

Training

• There will be a full assessment prior to start, this consists of a theory test and a practical assessment
