Finance Director | Dual Site Role | 6-Figure Salary
We are on the hunt for a seasoned Finance Director to become a key senior leadership member for a dynamic and growing manufacturing organisation in the East Midlands and enact the mandate to oversee the financial strategy and performance of two key business units with a combined turnover of upwards of £180 million.
If you are a Finance Director with a proven track record in similar roles, with accomplishments in leadership, strategic thinking, and skilled communication, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels, we want to hear from you!
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will play a critical role in driving growth, optimising financial performance, and delivering on strategic objectives. You will lead a talented and diverse team of 12 professionals across multiple areas, not limited to finance, ensuring collaboration and operational excellence.
Key Objectives:

Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives across the group, partnering with the Managing Director to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within the business units.

Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.

Lead, mentor, and develop the team to ensure high performance and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management processes.

Capital Expenditure – Evaluation and preparation of submissions including  management of overall spend level to approved budgetary limits.

Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.

Responsible for managing the internal and external audit process and ensuring adherence to the Group Authorities Matrix and Minimum Control Framework.
What We’re Looking For:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

Proven experience as a Finance Director, ideally in a business of comparable scale.

Strong leadership skills with a history of managing and developing teams.

Demonstrable experience in driving growth and improving financial performance.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.

A proactive and solution-focused approach to challenges.
