Justteachers is delighted to offer an opportunity for a compassionate and committed SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic and welcoming school in the Horncastle area. This full-time, long-term position is set to begin in April/ May 2025, with shortlisting currently underway.

This innovative school is dedicated to delivering a flexible, tailored curriculum across four distinct learning pathways. Catering to students aged 5 to 16all supported by individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)the school creates an environment where every pupil is empowered to flourish, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. The school places a strong emphasis on fostering positive relationships between pupils and staff, ensuring both academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to address each student's unique needs.

Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging, interactive lessons and activities.

Encourage independence, effective communication, and social interaction among students.

Collaborate with teachers and specialists to adapt learning strategies and approaches for individual requirements.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

Relevant qualifications in education, special needs, or support work.

Proven experience working with SEND students, particularly those with EHCPs.

A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting learners.

Two education or school-based references.
