Role Overview:
Seeking a qualified and experienced Access Arrangements Assessor to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work across multiple campuses in London, providing vital support to students by assessing and implementing access arrangements to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for students requiring access arrangements, ensuring compliance with JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) and other relevant guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive records and reports to support applications for access arrangements.
- Liaise with teaching staff, SENCo, and support teams to identify and address individual student needs.
- Provide expert advice on access arrangements and recommend appropriate interventions and accommodations.
- Travel between the Ardleigh Green and Rainham campuses to assess and support students.
- Level 7 qualification in Access Arrangements (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in conducting assessments for access arrangements in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of JCQ regulations and other relevant statutory requirements.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, students, and external agencies.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel across Havering campuses.
- A competitive hourly rate of 34.
