Behaviour Mentor – Havering – Start Date: ASAP We are looking to appoint a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join an Outstanding school in Havering. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive school setting that values professional development and strong behaviour management.

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor with:

  • A 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a leading UK university
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Confidence in managing behaviour and implementing effective strategies
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with teachers and other professionals
  • Enthusiasm for supporting children with a variety of Special Educational Needs
Key Responsibilities of a Behaviour Mentor:

  • Delivering 1:1 and small group support to students with specific behavioural needs
  • Building rapport and relationships to encourage positive behaviour
  • Assisting in the classroom to support students both academically and socially
  • Working closely with the SEN team to adapt interventions as needed
  • Liaising with professionals to develop targeted behaviour strategies
