Ground Maintenance Operative

Based in Horndean and surrounding Areas

12 week Temp to Perm

Stafforce are currently recruiting for a team of Ground Maintenance Operatives to work for our client based in Horndean.

The Role;

  • Provide and carryout Grounds Maintenance Service as directed by the Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to the communal areas
  • Duties to include grass cutting, hedge cutting, pruning, weed control, litter picking, and other works as deemed necessary.
  • Use PDA Reporting system to record site visits and record tasks carried out.
  • Use appropriate tools for the task in hand and use best horticultural practise.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that equipment is regularly washed, kept clean and in good condition and report any defects to the supervisor.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are kept clean with regular checks to oil and coolant levels reporting any defects to the fleet manager. Comply with the companies driving at work policy and procedure.
  • Assist all other trades as and when required ensuring that residents/customers receive the best possible quality service.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with this position.

What you'll need:

* Practical horticultural knowledge & experience

* PA1 and PA6AW qualifications (desirable, but not essential)

* NPTC certification or equivalent (desirable, but not essential)

* A full driver's licence (with towing licence desirable)
