Morson Talent are recruiting for a Logistics Operative to join a leading manufacturing company on a 12-month contract in [location]. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a stores environment to support efficient warehouse operations and production site logistics.
About the Role:
- 12-month initial contract, 37 hours per week.
- Monday to Thursday: 07:15 – 15:45 (30 min unpaid lunch)
- Friday: 07:15 – 12:15 (No lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high standard of customer service.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in Stores and Production Site.
- Manage stock flow between stores and production.
- Operate forklift for stores and site needs.
- Ensure safety protocols and Health & Safety procedures are followed.
- Take part in Continuous Improvement activities, offering suggestions for better efficiency.
- Support site logistics, resolving any concerns.
- Maintain security of the warehouse and control access.
Qualifications:
- Experience in stores and stock management within manufacturing or defence.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Forklift qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Aviation security and Dangerous Goods handling certifications are a plus.
- Computer literacy and strong analytical skills required.
