The role involves supporting the Management Accountant with monthly accounting processes, financial analysis, and reconciliations.

The salary for this position is up to £31K, accompanied by study support and excellent benefits.
The working hours are from 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working options available.

Morgan McKinley is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to work for a great business based in the Horsham, West Sussex area. The Assistant Management Accountant role will be supporting the Management Accountant and FC with the monthly management accounting process, financial analysis, reconciliations etc. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant who is keen to continue or start their accounting qualifications.

Salary: up to £31K plus study support + excellent benefits

Hours: 8.30-5.30 Mon-Fri

Location: Horsham, West Sussex - Hybrid working options

Assistant Management Accountant duties:

Supporting with financial, pricing and monthly margin analysis
Reconciliations
Building rapport with supplier, challenging charges and obtaining credits
Assisting with P&L preparation
Assisting with the monthly Management Accounts process
Monthly close journals
Support the Balance sheet reconciliation process

Skills and experience:

Proven experience working in a similar Assistant Accountant / Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant type role
AAT qualified, ideally a studier - ACCA / CIMA or looking to study
Excellent analytical and organisational skills
