The Role:
As an Audit Senior, you will take ownership of audit assignments for a varied portfolio of clients, ranging from SMEs to larger corporate groups. You’ll be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising junior team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing audit assignments from planning to completion
- Reviewing audit work and ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102 and UK GAAP
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
- Supervising and mentoring junior auditors, providing training and guidance
- Identifying risks and making recommendations for process improvements
About You:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong audit experience within an accountancy practice
- Solid knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and auditing standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
